Yavelle 25ppm Deuterium-Depleted Water (DDW) in a convenient 500mL recyclable PET bottle. Made in the USA. Clean, minimalist hydration with clear ppm labelling.

Made in the USA. Independently lab-tested. Stocked in Australia. Every batch is tested by an independent isotope laboratory before it goes on sale, and we publish the certificate. We label the specification we guarantee, not the best number we have ever measured, so the certificate is usually better than the label. View the Certificate of Analysis.

About Yavelle 25ppm Deuterium-Depleted Water

Yavelle is produced in the United States to a 25 parts per million deuterium specification, against around 150 parts per million in ordinary drinking water. Each box contains 24 x 500mL bottles, clearly labelled and consistently produced, with every batch independently laboratory tested before it goes on sale.

What is Deuterium-Depleted Water (DDW)?

Deuterium is a naturally occurring stable isotope of hydrogen, present in all water on earth. It is hydrogen carrying an extra neutron, which makes it roughly twice as heavy. Ordinary drinking water typically contains around 150 parts per million of deuterium. Deuterium-depleted water is water that has been processed to reduce that concentration below natural levels.

Because deuterium is chemically identical to hydrogen and differs only in mass, no filter can remove it. Carbon filters, ceramic filters, reverse osmosis and ordinary distillation all leave it untouched. The only method is repeated industrial separation, which is what determines the cost.

Why 25ppm?

We chose 25 parts per million because it sits at the depleted end of the range used in published research. Going lower multiplies production cost substantially without a research basis that justifies it, and past a certain point you are paying for a smaller number on a label rather than for anything anyone has studied.

You are welcome to disagree with that judgement. It is a judgement, and we would rather explain it than have you assume we could not go lower.

Where Yavelle Is Made

Yavelle is made in the United States of America. We say so plainly because in this category it is worth knowing, and because not every brand will tell you.

Depleting deuterium is not filtration and it is not purification. It requires repeated industrial isotope separation, typically low-temperature vacuum rectification in fractionating columns many metres tall running thousands of sequential stages. It is heavy industrial infrastructure and there are only a handful of such facilities in the world. To the best of our knowledge, there is no deuterium depletion facility in Australia, and there never has been. All deuterium-depleted water sold in Australia is therefore manufactured overseas and brought here. The only real questions are which country, and whether the seller will tell you.

Ours is made in the USA. We import it, hold stock in Australia, and deliver domestically at no charge. It costs us more than the alternatives and we have decided it is worth it.

How People Drink It

However they like. It is a beverage, not a protocol, and there is no amount you are meant to reach. Most people drink it alongside their normal water rather than instead of it, and when they drink it is entirely preference.

One thing worth knowing: mixing it with ordinary water raises the average concentration in direct proportion to volume. One litre of Yavelle at 25ppm plus one litre of tap water at 150ppm works out to 87.5ppm, not 25. Our intake calculator does that arithmetic for you.

Storage

Store in ordinary conditions, out of direct sunlight, the same as any bottled water. Heating, boiling and freezing do not meaningfully change the deuterium content. Mixing with another liquid does.

About Yavelle

Yavelle is an Australian-founded company supplying clearly specified, independently verified deuterium-depleted water, made in the USA, to customers in Australia, New Zealand and the USA. Founded in 2026 by Anthony and Kamila Kingston, who also founded White Lotus Beauty in 2004, and who are both Amazon bestselling authors with over twenty years in the health sector.

We do not make health claims about this product. Deuterium depletion has a published research literature and a published sceptical literature, the human trials are small, and the standard of evidence required to make a health claim about a beverage is not currently met. We explain why we make no health claims and let you decide.

Yavelle 25ppm Deuterium-Depleted Water is a packaged food. It is not a therapeutic good and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.

What is 25ppm deuterium depleted water?

25ppm deuterium depleted water is water that has been processed to contain 25 parts per million of deuterium, against the approximately 150ppm found in ordinary drinking water. That is roughly 80 per cent less. Deuterium is a naturally occurring stable isotope of hydrogen, present in all water on earth.

How much should I drink?

That is up to you. Yavelle is a beverage, not a protocol, and there is no amount you are meant to reach. Most people drink it alongside their normal water rather than instead of it.

Can I mix Yavelle with regular water?

Yes. Nothing about the depletion process is fragile and nothing changes when you combine them. Bear in mind that the result is a volume weighted average: one litre of Yavelle at 25ppm plus one litre of tap water at 150ppm works out to 87.5ppm, not 25. Our intake calculator does that arithmetic for you.

How long does one box last?

One box contains 24 x 500mL bottles, 12 litres in total, so it depends entirely on how much you drink and whether you mix it with anything. Our intake calculator will work it out for whatever rate you enter. A subscription is discounted against one off orders and you can pause or cancel at any time.

Why can't deuterium just be filtered out?

Because deuterium is chemically identical to hydrogen and differs only in mass. A filter separates by size, charge or chemical affinity, so there is nothing for it to catch. Carbon filters, ceramic filters, reverse osmosis and ordinary distillation all leave it untouched. The only method is repeated industrial separation, which is what determines the cost.

What is the difference between deuterium depleted water and regular water?

Ordinary drinking water contains approximately 150 parts per million of deuterium. Deuterium depleted water has been processed using industrial techniques such as low temperature vacuum rectification to reduce that concentration. Yavelle is produced at 25ppm, approximately 80 per cent less.

The water looks, tastes and behaves like ordinary water. Ingredients are distilled water with a small quantity of electrolytes: potassium bicarbonate, calcium chloride and magnesium chloride. There is no sugar, no sweeteners, no flavours and no preservatives.

What does the research say?

There is a published research literature on deuterium depletion going back to the early 1990s, concentrated in Hungarian and Romanian research groups. A 2024 scoping review in the journal Metabolomics is a reasonable place to start.

It is early. Most of the studies were conducted in cell cultures or animals rather than in people, the human studies are small, and several were conducted by researchers with a commercial interest in the field. There is also a substantive published critique arguing the marketing in this category has run well ahead of the evidence.

We publish both sides on our research page, and we would rather you read them than take our word for either. Yavelle makes no health claims about this product.

Is it just water?

Yes. Water with less deuterium in it, plus a small quantity of electrolytes, and nothing else changed. It is sold and regulated as a food.

As with any change to what you eat or drink, if you are pregnant, nursing or under medical supervision, please speak with your doctor first.

How is Yavelle verified?

Every batch is tested by an independent laboratory and the certificate of analysis published before the water goes on sale. The certificate names the laboratory, states the method used, carries a batch identifier and gives a result with a stated uncertainty range.

Our most recent batch tested at 20ppm, exceeding the stated 25ppm specification. You can read the full certificate on our site, and we would encourage you to ask any brand in this category for theirs.

Why is Yavelle packaged in PET plastic bottles?

We chose recyclable PET over glass for practical reasons. It significantly reduces the weight and carbon footprint of shipping, particularly over long distances, while maintaining the integrity of the water. PET does not affect the deuterium concentration.

Where is Yavelle available?

Yavelle is available online at yavelle.com and yavelle.com.au with free shipping across Australia, New Zealand and the USA. It is also stocked by Debenhams in the United States, and by Debenhams, Virgin Australia and KrisShop - Singapore Airlines in Australia.

Who founded Yavelle?

Yavelle was founded in 2026 by Anthony and Kamila Kingston, a husband and wife team on the Gold Coast, Queensland, who also founded White Lotus Beauty in 2004. Both are Amazon bestselling authors with over twenty years in the health sector. Their interest in deuterium depletion began in 2024 while reading widely in metabolic science.
